Accessibility Statement
Tendios is committed to making its websites and applications accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, in line with the European Accessibility Act (EAA, Directive 2019/882) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
Conformance target
We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across public.tendios.com and the Tendios Bid, Create and Clarity applications. This means content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for assistive technologies including screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice control.
Current status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. Some older components and user-generated content may not meet every criterion. We run automated accessibility audits (axe-core) in CI and perform manual screen-reader testing on key user flows at least quarterly.
Features we've built in
- Keyboard navigation across all interactive elements with visible focus states.
- Skip-to-content links on every page.
- Semantic HTML with ARIA roles where native semantics are insufficient.
- Alt text on informative images; decorative images marked as such.
- Minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text (3:1 for large text).
- Light and dark mode with consistent contrast across both.
- Form fields with explicit labels, error messages, and inline validation.
Known limitations
- Some complex data tables (tender comparison, market intelligence charts) may not yet expose keyboard shortcuts for all interactions. Fixes are planned for Q2 2026.
- Rich-text editors and document annotation tools currently target Level A conformance; Level AA is in progress.
- Third-party embeds (video players, payment iframes) rely on vendor accessibility support.
